These terms apply when you pre-order a LouJi™ machine or purchase anything through lou-ji.com. By placing an order you accept them. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
1. Who you are buying from
Your contract is with LouEnterprises Ltd, registered in the Republic of Bulgaria under company number (EIK) 208507534, with registered address at zh.k. Malinova Dolina, bl. 29, entr. C, fl. 8, app. 49, Studentski district, 1700 Sofia, Bulgaria, trading as LouJi™. VAT number: BG208507534. Contact: hey@lou-ji.com.
2. What a pre-order means
LouJi™ is in active development. A pre-order reserves a machine from the first production run. The delivery window shown on the product page and at checkout is our best estimate, not a guaranteed date. We will keep you informed with production updates, and if delivery is materially delayed beyond the communicated window, you may cancel at any time for a full refund.
Design details and specifications may be refined between pre-order and delivery as engineering completes. If a change is substantial, we will tell you before dispatch, and you may cancel for a full refund if you no longer wish to proceed.
3. Editions and prices
- Founders Edition, €1,790 paid in full. One of 25 individually numbered machines. Numbers are allocated in order of purchase and confirmed by email.
- Reserve, €499 deposit. Total price €1,999. The remaining balance of €1,500 is invoiced before dispatch. If the balance remains unpaid 14 days after our request and a reminder, we may cancel the reservation and refund your deposit in full.
All prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Our VAT number is BG208507534. Any included matcha allowance, serial confirmation or launch benefit shown at checkout forms part of your order.
4. Payment
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your order exists once you receive our confirmation email. We may cancel and refund any order we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent.
5. Cancelling before dispatch
You may cancel your pre-order at any time before your machine ships, for any reason, and receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the Reserve deposit. Email hey@lou-ji.com and we will process it promptly.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the countries offered at checkout. Risk in the product passes to you on delivery. You will receive your confirmed delivery window by email ahead of dispatch.
7. Right of withdrawal after delivery
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving your machine, without giving a reason. Email us within that period, then return the machine unused and, where possible, in its original packaging. You bear the direct cost of the return shipment. We refund the full purchase price within 14 days of receiving the machine back or proof of its return.
8. Legal guarantee and support
Your machine is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity that applies in your country, which in the EU is a minimum of two years from delivery. If anything is wrong, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund as the law provides. This guarantee is in addition to, not instead of, anything else we offer.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
10. Intellectual property
LouJi™, the LouJi™ marks, and all content, designs and imagery on this site are the property of LouEnterprises Ltd. Pre-ordering a machine does not grant any rights in them.
11. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as supplier failures, transport disruption or natural events. If such an event materially delays your order, section 2 applies and you may cancel for a full refund.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, talk to us first at hey@lou-ji.com; we resolve almost everything directly. Otherwise, you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence where consumer law allows.
